Description

"Lewis & Clark entered the Columbia river gorge in the fall of 1805 on the last leg of their overland trek. Like a guiding angel, majestic Mt. Hood watched over the last 200 miles of their voyage. They passed many sites and scenic points, some to become famous landmarks in later years."
