Description

Small oval table mat woven of fine grass of three colors: natural, light brown and dark brown. The design is of concentric circles alternately in each of the three colors. Eells reported that the Indians used aniline dyes in coloring the grass for these mats. The weave is fine and tight. Post-Contact/Reservation.
