Description

Bamboo hat. The exterior of the hat has a wide brim and a convex top. The top has bamboo woven around it so that it looks like a spider's web. The hat is rimmed with a piece of wood, attached by strips of bamboo. The inside of hat has a built-in round section to allow the hat to conform to the top of head. Also, inside hat are two strips of cloth twine, possibly tied under the chin to secure the hat, or tied around the neck to easily carry it. Catalog lists-The Virgil Davin Collection states: "155 VD Bamboo Hat."
