Description

Stone Grist Mill used to grind rice for pastries, bottom portion is a round stone 6" in height and 26.5" in diameter there is a depression 1.5" deep and 3" wide in the stone which is also part of the spout. Inside the depression is a stone circle 18.5" in diameter with a metal square 2"x 2". Metal square with a metal rod sticking up. The top portion is a stone circle 7" high and 18" in diameter with a 2" deep depression and an off-center hole which goes all the way through the stone 2" in diameter the sides of the stone have rectangular indentations 1/12" X 3". Part of the Chinese in Walla Walla exhibit. Display tag states: "Stone Grist Mill. Ground rice for use in baking pastries."
