Description

A) The main part of the top is green satin with curved sleeves and "V" neckline. It is trimmed with white, yellow, red, blue, green, and pink striped silk brocaded with pink patterns around the neck, under the sleeves and on the end of the sleeves. The top ties at the bottom of the neckline which is covered with a red pompom. The top is lined with yellow chiffon. L 71.0, W 33.5 cm. B) Red satin skirt with white cotton shoulder straps and ties. The skirt is lined with red chiffon. L 120.0, W 180.0 cm. C) Round purse with flat top made of white, blue, red, green, pink and yellow striped silk with yellow trim and yellow drawstring. The purse is lined in the striped material at the top and light pink silk below the drawstring. It is sewn around the drawstring with very large stitches in red thread. The bottom of the purse is reinforced with a stiff material. H 4.5, L 21.0, W 16.8 cm. ID Tag states: "1986.02 * Authentic Korean Costume Made in Korea. Donated by Mr & Mrs Dale Baker Red satin skirt, satin top, small purse MADE in Korea, by Korean Friend (sic) brought to U.S. *Request that when on Display, Their names are mentioned."
