The medicine container displaying a continuous design of fishermen on a riverbank rendered in gold hiramaki -e (raised sprinkled metallic lacquer) against a black lacquer ground, together with an agate ojima and ivory hako -form netsuke. Catalog List David C. Graham Collection states: "No Number Lacquered purse with lid and cord. Gold painted design, carved ivory weight. 7 x 6.2 cm." Qing Dynasty 1644-1911 (?)
