Accession File states: "11064- 60 Small lacquer Natsume (container for machya, powdered green tea, for Japanese tea ceremony); Maple leaf design, diam. of bowl 2 3/8"." Artifact Note states: "BLACK LACQUERED TEA CADDY DECORATED WITH MAPLE LEAVES AND CHERRY BLOSSOMS." Early 20th Century.
