Description

The shoes of traditional form, exhibiting a rendering of a black and white cat to the upper surfaces at the heels, the toe straps of red fabric with a cross design. Each toe has an old catalogue number which reads 11064-88 a or b. Because they come as a pair, they are catalogued as 11064-88. Accession File states: "Japanese shoes, children's dress Zori, design of head and foot, gold crosses on strips." Mid 20th Century.
