Two colorful hand-knitted stockings. The top begins in a band of orange, 2.5 cm, and leads down to a row of squares (red and orange), the next row are square in red and green, and next alternating green and red, then a solid band of red, 2.5 cm. Another repetition of alternating red and green squares leading to a solid green band, 2 cm. The solid green block leads to alternating rows of orange and green squares, then to a long band of red, 4 cm-in the center of which are two rows of alternating red and green squares, and at the end of the red are the same two rows of squares, all leading to a small band of green, 1.5 cm, and an orange band to the tip, 3.5 cm. Accession File states: "Stockings, hand knit, Marash Turkey." 20th Century.
