Description

Two pieces of cloth, brown, from mummy in Cairo, Egypt. Five pieces of cloth; each different length. Found with the cloth was a report on Assiut College for the year of 1914, a 3 x 5 notecard that states: "Greenslade 5446", and the back flap of an envelope which has the number 5446 written on it. The smallest piece has some type of plaster top on a few layers of tan linen and measures 15 cm in length and 9 cm in width. The largest strip of cloth measures about 40.5 cm in length and 10.5 cm in width. Accession File states: "Cloth from Egyptian Mummy found at Assiut, Egypt. September 13, 1927."
