Description
American flag, removed from west wall of the museum May 1997. This flag is a 46 star US flag, with the 46th star symbolizing the addition of Oklahoma to the states. It was produced sometime between 1908-1912. The flag is made of a coarse, but thin cloth. There are small holes torn throughout the striped field of the flag, with a very large rip in the upper right-hand corner. There is a medium sized hole in the lower left corner of the canton.
