Description

Made of heavy, dark brown leather. Belt is about 4.3 centimeters wide. Buckle is silver, with raised Nazi insignia on it showing a stylized eagle with wings spread much in the manner of the eagle on the Weinhardts bottle caps, grasping a swastika in its claws. Surrounding eagle is a circle with what appears to be laurel leaves on the bottom, while on the top half of the circle are the words ""Gott Mit Uns"" in block capitals using a serif type face. Ring around central image and surrounding type is in the form of a twisted rope. Belt attaches to buckle on one end by means of a hook device. One the other end, belt is attached by means of a device to enable the adjustment of belt size. This works by dint of double metal tines on the buckle which pass through matching holes on a strip of leather sewn to the belt proper. WWII.
