Description

A child-size MIA2-I-I civilian gas mask, World War 2 era, manufactured by Johnson & Johnson, with a rubber face mask, metal canister, and elastic straps. It is nine inches long . It comes in an olive green canvas back and a rectangular cardboard box. The rubber face mask is embossed with the word CHILD on the front, and on one side is stamped with ""J.J.B LOT 2-3"". On the front of the canister is a warning and instructions. The canvas bag in which the gas mask is placed has an adjustable strap and snaps closed. On the front it has a large logo with the ""US"" above it, and below reads: ""Noncombatant gas mask MIA2-I-I child property of the U.S. government OCD"" The cardboard box in which the mask is contained is 6""x3.5""x11.5"" and has further warnings in a black box on one side.
