Description

Light brown, oviod, chipped stone tool with chips removed from both sides and a thick center. The accession records claim the tool is a "Stone Ax" but the artifact seems abnormally small for an ax. Accession File states: "5865 Stone Ax., Indian. Bannock Co., Idaho, Ft. Hall Purch. Clarence McBeth Jan. 24, 1930". Donor File states: "5865 Stone Ax, Indian. Bannock Co., Ida., Ft. Hall Purch.
