Description

Mortar made from grey basalt with a very shallow depression. The depression is 1.0 cm deep and rougher than the surrounding stone. Near the edge of the stone is a natural depression and on the edges are a few chips missing. Accession File states: "5847 Mortar, Indian Snake River, N.E. Burbank, Wash. H.S. Brode and J.C. Bunnell 1930."
