Description

Pestle made of light brown stone. It has a two step knob, with a flat top, ending in a wider ring with a chip missing from it. Below the ring, the pestle narrows then tapers wider to a shoulder. Below the shoulder, the pestle entends straight to a flat bottom. The bottom is worn showing use. A large piece is missing from the bottom, a piece is missing from the side and the other side has two large cracks. Accession File states: "4793. Stone Pestle. Picked up in yard 347 Grove Street, Walla Walla. Probably thrown away. J.W. Hoyt 11/23/25."
