Pestle made of light grey stone with white veins, tapering from smallest at top to largest at bottom, no decoration though white veins give a similar impression. Top slightly rounded, bottom flat. The entire pestle is except for wear on the sides indicating use. Flakes missing from around bottom. Accession File states: "5857 Indian Implements (4 pieces) 2 pestles and arrow point. Echo, Oregon. Puch. Clarence McBeth Jan. 24, 1930. Donor File states: "Indian Implements (4 pieces) 2 pestles and arrow point. Echo, Ore." Museum File has a list of artifacts purchased from Clarence McBeth.
