A hole is at the center of the top half of the square one. There is a detailed carving in the middle of the stone. It seems well worn and is a dark brown color. Tabloid; perforation near top perpendicular to broad sides. Black "steatite" (?). 35 x 25 1/2 x 8 [mm]. Scratched surface; wedge-shaped gouge extending from the bottom of the seal into the design. Indistinguishable image contained within a 12 x 19 [mm] "frame" on stamp face; edge to edge groove on stamp face perpendicular to broad side and below the image frame. Accession book states: "8860. Seals (3). Larger possibly Assyrian. Other 2 smaller unknown. Rev. James Lyman. Marash, Turkey. Jan. 5, 1940."
