Washington State Penitentiary - History

Description

I was the Director of Education at the Penitentiary while this document was developed. In my office I had daily contact with a large and varied number of inmates who used a somewhat different and colorful language. When I heard a term I didn't understand I would ask them for a definition and note it on an alphabetical card. Over the years cards added up and turned into this dictionary.--Authors Note.
