Description

A large, gray horse made out of what appears to be sticks of driftwood but is actually cast bronze. Butterfield is originally from Bozeman, Montana, but collected the wood for this piece from the Columbia and Snake Rivers and cast the piece at the Walla Walla Foundry (which is owned and operated by alumnus Mark Anderson '78). http://www.lalouver.com/html/butterfield_bio.html.
