Pedestal dated 9th century, though uncertain
A gold, standing, front facing figure of a Buddah in drapery with its hair tied in a bun on its head. Its right arm is bent upwards with its right palm facing the viewer. Its left arm is down by its side with its right palm turned out towards the viewer. The figure stands on a dark, wood pedestal with a metal placard tacked to it that reads: "Silla Period (9th Century)." Dimensions: 8 1/4" x 2 5/8" x 2 1/8", pedestal: 4 3/4" x 3 7/8" x 3 7/8".
