Japanese or Chinese painting in ink and colors on silk, mounted as a hanging scroll. It depicts Manjusri wrapped in his robe, holding a sutra in one hand. He has long flowing hair that falls bellow his shoulders and down his back. The scroll is stamped with two seals in the upper left.
