Description

A Thai Sawankhalok jar with a globular body with a small, rounded foot and mouth. The body has iron-black underglaze in two parallel circles around the middle and other curving lines on the shoulder. The mouth and foot are also darkened. The piece is covered with a crackled glaze which gives it a greenish-brown tint. Diameter: 4 5/8," height: 3 5/8".
