Image of a Moline 3-wheel gang plow. On the back of the photo a folded letter is attached. The letter reads "Stenographic Dictation Moline, Ill. 7-28-1885 Mess. Knapp, Burrell & Co., Portland, Ore. Gentleman: Enclosed you have a photo of our new 3-wheel Gang Plow, just completed, and which we are now ready to offer to the trade. It has bee thoroughly tried and tested, and we have no hesitation in recommending it. It will take, we believe, the same place in relation to other gang plows as the Flaying Dutchman has done in relation to other sulky plows, and we believe it has merits that will command the largest share of this kind of trade. Its weights is 650 lbs., and by a dynoamometer test in heavy, stiff sod it showed a draft varying from 450 to 550 lbs., cutting a furrow 25 inchges wide. Yours truly Moline Plow Co. S. S. Carson Secy"
