The Whitman College and Northwest Archives curates materials that document the history of Whitman College and the Walla Walla region as well as rare books and other special collections housed in the Penrose Library. The archives collects, preserves, provides access to, and promotes the use of these materials for teaching, learning, and research. The digitized collections in ARMINDA reflect a small portion of our overall collections. For a more complete list of our physical holdings, see our collection guides.
Penrose Library strives to make our digital collection resources available and useful to our faculty, staff, students, alumni, researchers, and the general public. Through our digital repository, the library offers access to a wide range of information, including historical materials that may contain offensive language or images, or negative stereotypes. Such materials should be viewed in the context of the time period in which they were produced. Penrose Library does not endorse the views expressed in such materials.
