Whitman College Miscellaneous Materials

Inaugural edition of the Whitman Academic Journal, a collection of student-written essays as a multidisciplinary periodical of student research, published in 2000.

A "Pictorial Review of Whitman College Buildings," this publication is an architectural history of the Whitman College campus, including photographs and illustrations of buildings and grounds.

Two essays written by Professor of History Robert L. Whitner, on the history of Whitman College. These essays, initially prepared as speeches, are titled: "The Myth that Saved the College" and "The Greater Whitman."

Decal of the informal Whitman College mascot "Marc - the Fighting Missionary" which was introduced in 1951. In 2016, Whitman College changed its mascot from the "Pioneers" to the "Blues."
