Medium-sized basket of the "fancy" variety described by Eells. Used to store clothing and other articles. The rim is scalloped using twisted bark rope. The main body is woven tightly of dark brown and natural color grass. The design around top is of animal shapes in dark brown; under that is an inverted step design and three descending patterns made of concentric rectangles alternately in dark brown and natural colored grass. Each rectangle is edged by small squares. Tag states: "Fancy basket, Twana, T'kai-ess." Post-Contact.
