Beige Lacquer ground, constructed in two sections with a shallow lid, the top displaying a design of red prunus scattered among floating rafts floating downstream in a river, the interior surfaces covered in russet lacquer; likely part of an incomplete set as sections are of slightly different size. Old object tag attached to led of box reads 11064-77. Has own box, green/gray silk covering with metal pull on lid. Accession File states: "Round 2 tiered lacquer box, tan ground with design of black logs (?) and red flowers floating in water on lid. Condition excellent. Has its own box, covered in grey silk with oval metal pull handle. This box is poor condition." Early to mid 20th Century.
