Roman clay oil lamp. Covered, with hole for wick. Top of lamp covered with faint design pattern, while clay near wick hole is discolored to a greyish black. Center of lamp's underside is dominated by a raised wagon-wheel pattern. "ALEP 1932" appears in pencil on underside, as well. From Lebanon or Syria.
