Black, iron kettle, very corroded, with a spout, hinged lid and handle. Molded into the lid is information about the manufacturer: ""BRIDGE, BEACH, & CO. ST. LOUIS"". The kettle has ""7"" molded onto the spout. The bottom of the kettle is flat, designed to be set on a stove. It has cracked and has been glued at some time in the past. Accession File states: ""11025 Iron Tea-kettle."" Post-1800.
