Oval shaped pestle made of grey granite with large black and white inclusions. Ends have evidence of useware. Sides are rough indicating that the stone was also used for grinding. Stone is very smooth where there is no evidence of usewear. Accession File states: "5857 Indian Implements (4 pieces) 2 pestles and arrow point. Echo, Oregon. Puch. Clarence McBeth Jan. 24, 1930. Donor File states: "Indian Implements (4 pieces) 2 pestles and arrow point. Echo, Ore." Museum File has a list of artifacts purchased from Clarence McBeth.
