Broken Chinese porcelain bowl. Was once glued together, but has since come apart. Edges are still sticky where once joined to other pieces. Decoration inside of bowl is of a repeating abstract "S" shape on a band around the upper portion of bowl; back ground in light green with top and bottom lined with one red strip each, repeating "S" in red, yellow and blue. The inside of bowl is white and at the bottom there is a circle of decoration, what appear to be three little red bats with wings outstretched. The outside of the bowl has four separate pictures: a red dragon, a blue, yellow, green, and red peacock, and two sets of plums, one yellow, blue, and red plum to each group. The order around the bowl is as follows: red dragon, plum, peacock, plum. Depth of bowl about 4 cm. Catalogue list Virgil Davin Collection states: "143 VD Medium Bowl."
