Description

Appears to be a miniature table. There are two pieces of wood, a top, and a bottom, along with two metal rods which measure 12.5 cm high. The piece of wood at top measures 17.4 cm long and 6.2 cm in width and 1.1 cm high. There is one hole through the side of the top piece and one of the metal rods goes through these two holes and goes down to meet the other piece of wood at the base. At the other end of the top a groove has been cut into the wood and the other metal rod fits up into this groove. Because of this groove, the top part is detachable from that end and will swing up and off due to the rod at the other end for support. The bottom piece of wood is made of four pieces, two long horizontal side pieces which measure 18 cm long and 2.2 cm wide that meet two short vertical pieces which measure 8 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. Underneath the two vertical pieces there metal rods connected to the horizontal bottom pieces by metal nodules; the former two rods are connected to these bottom two. Catalog lists-The Virgil Davin Collection states: "128 VD Wood and Iron Frame."
