Broken, dark grey, rectangular shaped adze. Flakes have been removed on most edges on both sides of the stone. Smaller flakes removed from the edges may indicate usewear. Artifact may be a chisel, according to Garth. Artifact notes state: "An adze is a cutting tool that has a thin arched blade sharpened on the concave side and set at right angles to the handle. Used primarily for rough-shaping wood."
