A pair of Japanese paintings in ink and slight color on paper, mounted on hanging scrolls. They depict a summer and winter scene respectively. This image shows the winter scene with a figure on a donkey crossing a bridge with a background of conifer trees on the left and a small house in the center on a steep hillside. They are both signed and stamped with the artist's seal. Dimensions: entire scroll: 68 1/2" x 20 3/4," painted image: 34 3/4" x 15."
